Biography.

A Chara from a violently distorted timeline. Once the narrator and voice of reason for the infamous Noah "Genocidal Frisk" Johnson, she now finds herself back in her own body, given another chance at the life she'd thrown away countless times.Although considered the 'pacifist' between her and Geno, she's quick to volunteer herself to handle any threats or issues that arise ; albeit at the cost of her own mental state. Though she attempts to solve issues as peacefully as possible, she is well aware that not everything can be solved with a simple conversation - ready to pick up her weapons at a moment's notice if it's to protect the timeline and the people she cares about.Though she seems to care vehemently about everything around her, it's noted quite often by her peers that she tends to neglect herself - both pushing her wants to the side, and overworking herself because
"it's the right thing to do."

Personality.

Though easily described in the past as a typical Chara in personality, Chara has dedicated herself to reinventing herself somewhat ; leaning towards being a friendly and welcoming person, some describing her as 'the mom friend' or the 'big sister'. Despite this, she's still a Chara at heart: formal upon first introduction, but known to throw occasionally sass and snarky comments in conversations, and easily influenced by emotion.Although often considered the nicest of the humans of TIMELINE 87, also known as 'Convergence', bits of her deeper personality occasionally show under stress and intense emotion. This is part in due to something akin to survivor's guilt: where she feels she NEEDS to make up for the mistakes she's made, and to make the most of the new life she has, without any strings attached. Although, the subject of her past personal life seems to haunt her.When under stress, she shows a self - sacrificing attitude ; oftentimes trying to handle every little situation herself until it's done with. Her temper is also one of her faults, as when enraged she goes into a much more aggressive and destructive state, both physically and verbally.In the wake of situations like the ones above, she's known to go into a exasperated, tired "hibernation" mode, where she simply refuses to get involved in anything, be it big or small.

- Known for almost comical bursts of anger and strength. Some describe it "like a cartoon character!"- Despite that description, most inhabitants of Timeline 87 fear these outbursts.- Her soul is bound to Geno's. This is why her soul is LV 40; it's technically two in one.- Her Heart Locket is not the original. It's actually a different one, given to her by Noah in the route where they first bonded.- Skilled singer, albeit very rusty these days. Still comforting.- Very avoidant on the subject of her family. Both her biological, and found ones. This is due to piles and piles of baggage.- Descendant of the wizards that originally sealed monsters centuries upon centuries ago. It's where the magic talent comes from!- Can actually drive. Somehow finds leisure in angrily stomping to her destinations, though. She drives a Subaru.- Has a stash of expensive chocolate hidden in her apartment.- Collects knives. No malicious reason, just that "they're cool."

Backstory.

A Chara never lives a happy life before falling down Mt. Ebott.Charlotte was no different. Born to a wealthy businessman, and a famous artist, Charlotte was immediately expected greatness out of the second she made her first steps in the world. While for all intensive purposes she did fulfill these expectations - they didn't come without a cost to her mental health. She was never alone due to her twin sister Clover, but the pressure of a poor parental relationship on top of pressure placed on her future, it all eventually came crashing down upon her - leading to the girl trekking up to Mt. Ebott, and...... landing on a golden bed of flowers, having that fateful meeting with Asriel Dreemurr. The story would go as usual from there, until... she woke up again, in the presence of Frisk - now known as Geno. They would do run upon run together, until eventually the appearance of Carol and Natalia set their course astray from the endless cycle it had become.Following Natalia for a while, Lottie was eventually granted life again; and although her status as player and narrator has fluctuated through the years, she currently finds herself as a main player in the havoc that follows her group of friends and associates.


Relationships.

GENO.

* Always there, even when you don't want him to be.

Her best friend, and closest companion. Though she should hate him, the two have found a strange bond through all the events they've been through together. Where most find frustration with his bold and arrogant facade, Lottie is one of the only people who have ever seen what lies beneath the grin and all the showmanship.Though his thick - headedness, the two are genuine friends - always looking to support each other, despite all the bickering they do on the outside. While she doesn't agree with many of his actions or methods, she's usually always there to set his head on straight in times of need.Brother and sister, though not by blood.

SANS.

* The old dog's always got new tricks.

One of her first friends from the very first reset. Though not as close as they were when she was younger and more naïve, the two do look out for each other in a sense - sharing a comradery after experiencing Geno's obsessive tendencies at their absolute worst.Lottie considers him one of the other 'responsible' folks around Shoreside: viewing their dynamic as something akin to, in her words,
"two parents watching their children at play."

SWEETIE.

* Maybe I went too far.

The one who revived her for the first time, as well as her ex - girlfriend. Their relationship is a bit bitter, due to the circumstances of their breakup, on top of more recent decisions on her part. Despite it all, Lottie still does care for Sweetie somewhat -- albeit very, very platonically at this point.Lottie tries to keep her set on the right path, as Sweetie is much like herself, where she sets herself aside in pursuit of a problem, or in pursuit of their ideals.

CAROL.

* Like looking into the past.

Lottie and Carol share an almost sibling - esque relationship, despite not being super close. Lottie views her as a mirror of how she was as a child ; angry at the world, and the world angrier at her. When interacting with Salty, she tends to be a voice of wisdom for the smaller one- typically giving them some small advices from one who's been through everything they have. Where most other Chara tend to have bitter relationships with one another, these two are something like big and little sister.... that's not mentioning the (admittedly childish) banter they have over who the "true" Chara is, in a timeline with about a dozen of them, though. Maybe that's why they seem like siblings...

BLIGHT.

* I like what I like.

Lottie's current girlfriend and living partner. Their relationship happened rather spontaneously, but the two have gotten close extremely quickly due in part to Blight's personality being a nice contrast to Lottie's own. Where Lottie is often a stress - case and too involved for her own good, Blight's rather laid-back and self preserving personality tends to nurture Lottie when she needs it the most.Although Lottie doesn't take care of herself mentally, Blight more than makes up for it by doting on her in her downtime. The comfort is much needed for Lottie, as she would otherwise have a complete lack of an outlet for her natural stresses.

EDEN.

* Someone has to take care of her.

Having met Eden for the first time in Shoreside, Lottie quickly turned into a sort of big sister for Eden, filling in the role that Geno left behind. She has all sorts of qualms about how he approaches her, but she also tries to make up for the hole of not only a role model but just someone for Eden to, even slightly, open up to. Being her next door neighbor, she tends to stop over from time to time, visiting to have a chat and help her around her apartment - forcing Eden to take care of herself when she normally wouldn't.Eden is a naturally reclusive person, so Lottie respectfully attempts to help her emerge from that shell, and hopefully give her someone she can always rely on to be there for her.

NYX.

* Just the headache I've needed.

After Serif's debacle with Lottie, she had been met with a rather dirty surprise - her twin sister, back in the flesh. Although Lottie had been forced to leave her past behind time and time again, it came back to haunt her; not in the form of Clover, but as Lottie: a merge of Clover and Reese, another once-familiar face. Lottie confronted Serif again for the actions, and though she failed her goal of actually killing the good doctor, she did manage to crack Nyx's programmed loyalty to him.Now, Nyx is back to something of their usual self again. Or.. selves. Despite the identity crisis they go through, Lottie's there for them every step of the way - happy to have her twin back, even if they aren't exactly how she remembers them.


Honorable Mentions.

Kris, who she finds herself able to relate to, no matter the variant.Pipsqueak. Something of a little sister figure. Pips is normally under watch by the Fell brothers, but when they want less... chaos, they tend to visit Lottie.Diantha Talaghan, her mother. Well - known artist, and where Lottie gets her talent for singing from. They were once close, but the two were not on good terms before Charlotte disappeared.Sycamore Talaghan, her father. Physically abused her before she ran away. Business - man. Got her rosy cheeks from him. And not much else.

Abilities.

DETERMINATION SOUL.

A variable power source that a majority of humans have. The power to keep going - some have it in small quantities, but others like Lottie have it as their main SOUL trait. For her, this manifests in several different ways. Some known applications are: boosts, energy manipulation, and under certain circumstances, the power to defy fate.


A boost is a temporary but potent increase to one's strength and magical capabilities. Lottie's are noticeable by a red tint in her hair, and her eyes being a full red, as opposed to the subtle ruby it typically is.


Lottie can utilize DETERMINATION as an energy source, creating projectiles, lacing her body or weapon with the power, or creating constructs with it, like knives or fists. These are typically used in tandem with her weaponry, sometimes denoted by the standard red color of her attacks changing to match the original user of the weapon in her hand.

(ex: the TOUGH GLOVES create an orange effect, and the TOY KNIFE creates a blue effect.)

The power to defy fate is typically unseen due to the nature of the timelines she inhabits, but if she is ever the greatest source of DETERMINATION in a timeline, she will have the power to SAVE and RESET.

MAGIC MASTERY.

Lottie is an adept mage; utilizing her unique powers in various ways.
Raw DETERMINATION is the standard but most powerful form of it, however her main seven weapons all use a base of the trait they embody.
The TOY KNIFE embodies PATIENCE.

COMBAT MASTERY.

Quick to pick up arms, there's a high chance Lottie will be good with any weapon you throw at her. This combined with her magic leads to some... unorthodox picks.However, she is most handy with a sword or a knife.

TELEPATHY.

Learning it in tandem with Geno, Lottie can communicate with people mentally. She can also read their minds, but...

LEVEL OF VIOLENCE.

Sharing a soul with Geno, Lottie has a high LV, also known as Level of Violence. While Lottie isn't known to be a truly violent or malicious person, she has no qualms taking up arms, or killing someone if she deems it necessary.This also grants her a superhuman level of striking strength, stamina, and durability.

    Self explanatory. Lets Lottie use magic projections of knives. Will not fight physically with it.

  • TOUGH GLOVES. - * Time for a beatdown.

    Martial arts gloves. Makes punches stronger. Allows Lottie to project large, magical fists. Commonly used.

  • BALLET SHOES. - * My legs are killer.

    Lightweight shoes that enhance Lottie's leg strength. The magic fires stars from her feet, and also allows her to project large ballet shoes.

  • TORN NOTEBOOK. - * Don't go peeking, now.

    A notebook with a lot of the pages torn out. Her magic projects the notebook lines as strings. This is used for trapping and set - ups.

  • RUSTY PAN. - * Not quite stainless steel.

    An old frying pan. Can be used as a blunt weapon. Magic projects a green barrier, with healing properties inside the walls.

  • EMPTY GUN. - * Fastest hand in the west.

    An empty gun. Though completely useless normally, her magic makes it fire yellow projectile rounds, on top of being able to project large guns that fire massive bullets.

  • TRUE KNIFE. - * She's never let me down.

    Her signature, red knife. Magically imbued with DETERMINATION, the knife has almost hellish strength. It can fire large slash projectiles with each swing.


New Toys.

  • WORN BOW. - * Straight through the heart.

    A rather worn old bow. Used as a more powerful, accurate alternative to the EMPTY GUN when fighting from afar. Not used often, but very strong when used in tandem with magic. Fires arrows of magical energy when used.

  • CRACKED SHIELD. - * I can go all day.

    A shield! It's a hand-me-down, but a little cracks never hurt anybody. Magic projects a barrier in front of her. A more agile defensive option than the RUSTY PAN.

  • GOLF CLUB. - * Fore!

    Lottie's take on Geno's infamous OLD MOP. A rather unorthodox weapon, but it has a surprising kick behind it. Used in tandem with magic, it can launch anyone hit by it miles out.

  • VINTAGE YO-YO. - * I'm just showing off.

    A collector's yo-yo turned into a rather silly weapon. Though it isn't the most lethal, in less tense scuffles, this weapon ends up surprising a few foes. Magic simply makes it hit harder.

  • SQUEAKY HAMMER. - * Knock 'em around.

    An unassuming weapon physically, but it's used exclusively with magic - like the TOY KNIFE. Magic projects a proper surface onto the weapon, as well as larger hammer projections.

  • TOY LASERSWORD. - * Cut them down.

    An extremely lethal weapon in Lottie's hands. Her magic turns the plastic blade into a proper beam saber - using it to cut straight through things, with a little more range and finesse than the TRUE KNIFE. Can also fire projectiles like the TRUE KNIFE.

  • PEW-PEW GUN. - * Silly name for a pistol.

    A weapon obtained secondhand from her sibling. Has the ability to fire charge shots. No extra abilities as of yet.
